Our courses - an overview

Our selection of Creative courses are run by experienced and qualified tutors, all of whom are exhibiting artists or professional practitioners in their field. Working in small groups, we aim to create an enjoyable and friendly atmosphere and our approach is relaxed and informal but constructive, with individual and sensitive tuition encouraging you to develop and improve your own style, skills and techniques, or personal and subconscious development. Sessions are carried out in the student’s own preferred medium where appropriate, in their own time and at their own pace with personal attention and ongoing support and tuition (if required*); working either en plein air around our area, in our on-site studio and grounds, or at our affiliated centre and sculpture studio nearby in the village. Students may choose from the following programmes or mix sessions if they wish:

We are pleased to say that we have many extremely satisfied customers, improved students and accomplished artists; here’s what recent visitors have had to say following their stay with us:

“The week with you seems like a dream in this gloomy London November, with only the paintings to prove it happened…Thank you again for a wonderful and fruitful time!” Mrs K.B. of Harrow-on-the-Hill.
“Before I came to ArtinSWFrance my work was just at a standstill…then Brian sprinkled some of his ‘magic dust’ over me, and suddenly it came on in leaps and bounds!” P.Longnaker of New York.

If you’d like to find out what other customers have to say, take a look at our ‘Client Testimonials’ page.

*We also cater for the advanced artist/student who may not require tuition. If you wish to use our creative centre as a base, taking advantage of our facilities, accommodation, catering, studios, etc, but prefer to work/study independently (ie, alongside others but without tuition) this can be arranged at reduced rates.
