The artist says: “In my art I am sometimes taken in different directions; from the Primitive, both in terms of cultures as well as in the raw, unadulterated expression of the subconscious and the symbolic, to other Abstract interpretations. The graphic representations and visual anecdotes I create reflect this and my empathy with people and places I have encountered, including those in touch with nature and the rhythms of life, their environment, the spirits of their world, and the natural order of things. Ultimately my work should speak for itself; I believe that art is the portrait of the soul.”
